Recorded and mixed by John Vanacore at the Dr. Pepper Palace and mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios, this release captures the band’s raw intensity and desolation of living in Las Vegas, bringing together elements of powerviolence, hardcore, and raw punk.
The tracks, featuring John Vanacore’s throaty, visceral vocals, dive into themes of personal anguish, societal betrayal, and existential struggle. From the ferocious blastbeats of "Perish Count" to the pummeling break of "Five Days Past the Church," Anguish Cry paints a vivid picture of the despair within modern life in a succinct yet brutal package. The record’s artwork was created by guitarist Jacodie Big Mountain, further tying together the band's vision of confronting inner and outer turmoil head-on.
